Twenty-five years inside one of the largest school districts in America. A Doctor of Education from Pepperdine. An advisor's seat inside a stealth AI startup. The through-line: turn ambitious ideas into operating systems that outlast the person who built them.
Dr. Roxsana Jaber-Ansari is an executive leader in education and organizational transformation with more than twenty-five years of progressive leadership across the Los Angeles Unified School District.
Throughout her career she has led strategic initiatives that improve student outcomes, strengthen organizational performance, develop educators, and build collaborative partnerships between schools and communities. Her portfolio spans instructional leadership, organizational strategy, Special Education compliance, student success, school safety, attendance improvement, restorative justice, grant management, professional learning, and operational excellence.
She has served in leadership roles across multiple middle and high schools while supporting communities serving up to 2,600 students. She earned her Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership from Pepperdine University and continues to advise organizations focused on innovation and the future of education.
"The classroom taught me to see one student. The cabinet taught me to see the system. AI is teaching me to see both at once."
Currently advising a stealth EdTech startup on AI-native tools for school leaders — instruction, operations, and family engagement. The vantage point is unusual: someone who has actually run the building, in the room where the product gets built.
Not a values slide. These are the tests I run every week before I green-light a decision.
